Energy Assistance and Weatherization

You may be able to receive a one-time payment for your winter heating costs if you meet income guidelines. IMPACT will help you apply for the benefit through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).  Assistance level depends on income level, family size, the type of fuel you use to heat your home, and other factors.  If you are determined eligible for the benefit through the LIHEAP program, you will also receive protection (moratorium) from disconnection on your heating and electrical services through April 1st of each year. If you heat your home with liquid propane (LP), you can qualify to receive the delivery of propane through this program. If you have received a disconnection notice, or if you are disconnected from your power source, we may have funding to assist you. Please read below for more information on how to contact us and apply for Crisis assistance.
