The Kirksville Community String Orchestra (KCSO) welcomes all violin, viola, cello and bass players from 7th grade through adult who have played at least one year and can read music. The ensemble was founded to provide a playing opportunity for adults and encourage young string players in an enjoyable environment of camaraderie.
KCSO provides members with stimulating music, mentoring by more experienced players and continued growth in musical maturity.
The orchestra rehearses on Thursday evenings at the Kirksville High School band room during the fall and spring, and culminates each semester with a concert. For more information, please contact Karen Bjork Kubin, eMail: kcsomusic@gmail.com
The Kirksville Community String Orchestra will begin rehearsals for the fall season on Thursday, August 30 from 7 – 8:30pm in the Kirksville High School band room. New members are welcome!
