Volunteers are alway greatly needed and appreciated here at the Baker COA. We have many areas needing Volunteers, such as:
- Delivering Home Delivered Meals
- Helping in the Kitchen at the Center
- Cleaning
- Washing COA Vehicles
- Beautify Senior Center Surroundings
- Shredding
- Answering Phones
- Leading Activities
- Helping in our Thrift Shop
If you are interested in volunteering your time to help local seniors, please call (904) 259-2223 ext. 222. Assistance is currently needed in the following areas:
- Telephone Reassurance: Make a daily telephone contact with a senior
- Meal delivery: Drivers and "runners" needed for one to two hours daily for area routes. Mileage reimbursement is available.
- Senior Center Activities: If you have a special gift or talent, you would like to share, please call. Opportunities exist for arts and crafts instruction, music performances, drama performances, and many other activities.
