Decatur Memorial Hospital was founded with the vision of babies being delivered in a hospital, more than 100 years ago by Mrs. Sue Hagaman. Wherever your pregnancy journey begins -the moment you enter our doors, until the day you leave for home with your new baby, you’ll receive the compassionate, personalized care you’ve come to expect from Decatur Memorial Hospital.
As your child grows; the DMH Pediatric Unit is dedicated to providing the best care in our area from age’s birth to 17. At DMH, we provide the only inpatient pediatric facility in Macon County with specially certified PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Nurses.
