Diagnosis and Treatment of Child Abuse, Trauma, and Neglect

The Center for Safe and Healthy Families is dedicated to offering medical and mental health assistance to suspected child abuse and neglect victims, alongside their families. Guided by the principle of prioritizing "The Child First and Always," our multidisciplinary team, including child abuse pediatricians, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and therapists, collaboratively conducts assessments and provides comprehensive care for children affected by abuse and trauma. Our mission centers around addressing child maltreatment through a holistic approach that encompasses medical evaluation, mental health treatment, education, and research, ensuring the well-being of these children remains our utmost priority.
