Children Health Programs

The Children's Health Programs offered by the Women’s Health Coalition introduce an engaging and educational outreach initiative focused on elementary school children. At the heart of this program is "The Maze," a dynamic traveling exhibit that can be replicated in any school or environment. The primary objective of The Maze is to instill the principles of healthy choices and lifestyle behaviors in a manner that is both enjoyable and easy for elementary school-aged children to adopt in their daily lives.

The Healthy Kidz Maze is a series of interactive stations designed to educate children about the significance of healthy choices across various aspects of their lives. These stations cover essential topics such as physical activity, nutrition, oral health, safety, and the importance of avoiding tobacco, drugs, and alcohol. The program goes beyond the classroom, promoting family participation in cultivating and sustaining healthy behaviors for everyone.

In addition to the interactive and fun learning experiences for children, the Children's Health Programs also include a focus on parent education and buy-in. By fostering a collaborative approach involving both children and their parents, the Women’s Health Coalition aims to create a comprehensive and lasting impact on the health and well-being of the community's youngest members. Through these innovative programs, the coalition is dedicated to building a foundation for lifelong healthy habits in the next generation.
