Transfer Student

Welcome to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB), where your journey as a transfer student is met with enthusiasm and support. Whether you've already earned college credit hours or are in the process, we're delighted that you're considering UMHB to continue your academic pursuit. As a seasoned college student, we understand that the transfer process can be intricate, but rest assured, we are here to guide you through every step.

To initiate your application, simply complete and submit the application for admission. We require official transcripts from each college attended, emphasizing that transcripts are considered official when sent directly from the institution to UMHB. If you have completed fewer than 12 transferable college credit hours, we request your official SAT or ACT scores and final high school transcript. Additionally, for students under the age of 22, bacterial meningitis vaccine documents are required.

Our admission requirements are designed to ensure a seamless transition for transfer students. To be eligible, students must be transferring credits from a regionally accredited college or university, maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 or better, and be in good academic and disciplinary standing at their last institution. We also consider applications from students with limited deficiencies on a probationary basis, providing a pathway for those eager to join the UMHB community. If you ever find yourself in need of guidance, our Admissions FAQs and dedicated Admissions Counselors are here to assist. We look forward to meeting you and supporting your academic journey at UMHB!
