These programs include The Pillowcase Project, which educates children in grades 3-5 about natural hazards and emergency preparedness through interactive activities. The Prepare with Pedro program targets younger children in kindergarten through second grade, focusing on home fire safety and local hazards. Additionally, the Be Red Cross Ready Training provides adults and older youth with essential knowledge on disaster response and preparedness, covering a variety of potential emergencies. These initiatives are designed to empower individuals and communities to effectively manage and respond to emergencies, ensuring safety and resilience.
