Enlace’s prevention services involve culturally and linguistically appropriate engagement at household and community levels—to foster equitable, gender-affirming practices among parents, youth, and their extended community.
Our prevention team centers the experiences and voices of domestic violence survivors, including those of former clients who volunteer to train as community-level educators and co-facilitate prevention-focused outreach efforts.
Our development groups focus on supporting youth (including child/youth witnesses to and survivors of domestic violence), domestic violence survivors, and domestic violence advocates. Group participants help advance crucial conversations around how to reduce domestic violence, promote gender equity, and effect systems-level change around shaping proactive, equitable domestic violence-affiliated policies.
