Arizona G&T Cooperatives, through its Apache Solar I project and SunAnza facility, is at the forefront of renewable energy development. Located at the Apache Generating Station, Apache Solar I harnesses solar power to produce 20 megawatts of clean energy, utilizing 3000 panels across 134 acres. In partnership with Anza Electric Cooperative, the SunAnza project combines solar power and battery storage to meet California's renewable standards and enhance grid reliability. Additionally, AEPCO optimizes hydropower allocations from the Hoover Dam, balancing renewable sources to achieve energy efficiencies and support sustainable growth.
